His key work includes AlphaFold, the Nobel Prize-winning model for protein structure prediction, and pioneering large language model-based AI agents like AlphaEvolve and AI Co-Scientist. Formerly Director of Research for the Cognition group at Microsoft Research, he was recognized by TIME in 2023 as one of the 100 most influential people in AI.
