Inviting AI-first startups to apply for Google for Startups Accelerator: India
Indian AI startups are moving rapidly from experimental pilots to deploying workflow-native systems, from general generative models to highly specialized, Sovereign AI and Agentic Workflows that solve uniquely Indian challenges at a population scale. To accelerate the founders driving this shift, applications are officially open for 2026 Class of Google for Startups Accelerator: India.
We are inviting Indian AI-first startups between Seed to Series A that are solving uniquely Indian challenges or building specialized models for global industrial applications. Specifically, this cohort will focus on startups building in four key areas:
- Agentic AI - Reasoning and advanced automation workflows
- Multimodal AI - Includes audio, video, and image generation
- Physical AI - Smart manufacturing, robotics, etc.
- Sovereign AI - Specialized, localized models.
What the 2026 Cohort Receives
Selected startups will receive equity-free support, including:
- Deep Google AI Integration: Hands-on collaboration with Google experts to leverage our most advanced models (Gemini, Gemma, Imagen, Veo, Lyria) to solve complex technical roadblocks.
- Dedicated Mentorship: 1:1 guidance from specialists across Google DeepMind, Cloud, Health, Android, and more.
- Infrastructure & Tools: Access to free Cloud TPUs, the latest Google AI tools, and Google Cloud credits (subject to eligibility).
- Tailored OKR Support: Weekly tracking with dedicated success managers to hit product, technology, and growth targets.
Inviting Indian AI-first startups between Seed to Series A
The Accelerator is designed to deliver measurable technical and business milestones. The startups from the previous cohort of this program made significant progress: Dview reported 4x revenue growth, while Superjoin utilized Gemini 3.0 to improve accuracy and latency by 50%, and Pulse identified $3M in at-risk revenue through large-scale feedback processing.
Several startups are leveraging AI to solve critical industry-specific challenges:
- AiSteth (MedTech) - Created an offline, edge-encrypted smart stethoscope MVP that screened 75,000+ patients without the internet across 20+ states in India.
- Vaani AI (Indic Voice AI) - Processed 1M+ minutes monthly and cut manual calls by 75% using Gemini, Gemma and its own foundational model to break down language barriers.
- Resilience AI (Climate Enterprise Tech) - Optimized its climate adaptation platform with Gemma 12B, achieving a 35% improvement in accuracy and a 23% reduction in model run times.
- VideoSDK (Enterprise Tech) - Launched a Voice AI Agent via the Gemini Live API, cutting costs by 40%, improving latency by 30%, and doubling revenue.
The upcoming Google for Startups Accelerator: India will kick off in late June with an intensive one-week in-person bootcamp in Bengaluru, concluding with a Demo Day in October. Check out the website to explore further program details and submit your application by 19th April.
